Kerry Cardigan
Big news from our house--look at our new (old) piano! The child has been asking for a piano and some colleagues had a wonderful Kawai piano for sale. It is amazing how good the piano sounds for an upright.
Knitting has been happening here, but just on the Kerry Cardigan. This picture is several days old, and I am now almost to the top of the back.

This color is closer to the original. Once I was out of the honeycomb section, I have been able to cable without a needle without impaling my hands. I've miscrossed a few cables and am getting better at isolating the cables to rip out and restitch. The Yarn Harlot's guide to repairing cables has been a lifesaver. Here is a close up of some of the repaired areas.

It has been a bit cool in Texas, so it is nice to see that the cardigan is actually being used even before completion!!

Did you notice this in the other picture? Our LYS had this cute yarn ball holder in stock. It has a clip for your belt, making it perfect for standing knitting. Very cool. It keeps the small people from using my knitting balls as a chew toy during my daughter's sports events!
