Handmaiden Stretto Raglan Sweater
Handmaiden Stretto Raglan Sweater Originally uploaded by amyeetx.
Look! Another project! I seem to be a sucker for the Handmaiden kits, as the yarns are so yummy and fun to knit. I bought this one at a bargain on ebay. It is stretto yarn in who knows what colorway--I think it might be vintage, but there weren't any tags. All fleece artist/handmaiden yarn kits come with a pattern, and this raglan was just the fast knit I needed in between a few other, longer projects. This knit fast and well, with one exception--not enough yarn. I don't like that these kits are a little short on the yarn, but this is the second one that was a problem so maybe that's the norm. I should buy the larger size and make the smaller, I guess. I took some yarn from the wrists and collar to piece together the last sleeve, but it worked. I wore this in New Hampshire last week, and it proves to be a comfy sweater that should get lots of wear.

Fritzi's Socks
Another project--complete! I bought this yarn and pattern when I was last in Oregon. The pattern is Fritzi's Socks and the yarn Mountain Colors Bearfoot.
I have no idea what the colorway is--sorry. This yarn is so yummy. I have decided if I am making socks they need to be soft wool. Nothing else will do. Plus the cables give these socks just enough support to stay up.
